When we first started planning a guide to marina websites, we had no idea it would come right after the guide to online marine resources in general. We did not plan it this way. It just happened. Turns out that Atlantic Cruising Club's Guide to Marinas was not only on our top 10 list of online marine resources last month, it tops the list of Marina Websites this month. Way to go ACC! The reason that ACC is the top choice is because they don't just help you find a marina, they rate it and provide a comprehensive guide to the services and local attractions. And, they provide it all free for perusing, and downloadable/printable with purchase of a book and searchable CD-ROM. Plus they provide comprehensive, unbiased US-wide coverage. It really is a valuable resource.

The others are searchable databases of marina listings with various different features attached. Dock search is a very different resource in that it connects you to available private dock space when perhaps the marinas are full or you need other solutions. They list docks available alongside private homes, dockominium rentals, and so on, connecting owners wanting to rent or sell with boat owners in need.
