• Dead Eye Dick’s 401-466-2654 has moderately priced fare (D $16-20) just a short walk from the Boat Basin near Payne’s.
• Naragansett Inn, offers breakfast buffet ($7.50), lunch and dinner, and is easily accessible by dinghy to their own beach
• Champlin’s The Dockside Restaurant, 466-7777. Dine indoors or on outside deck. Featuring American and Cajun cuisine and a Raw Bar. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Fine dining:

• The Atlantic Inn on High Street is perhaps the finest, most romantic dining experience on the island.  401-466-5883 www.atlanticinn.com Tapas and cocktails on the veranda, followed by a prix fix multiple course culinary delight.
• Hotel Manisses, on Spring Street, is a lovely romantic Victorian setting offering inventive seafood and garden vegetable concoctions from an a la carte menu.
